Downtown Steering Committee received the 2008 Golden Totem Award at the Ketchikan Visitor Bureau’s award Banquet.  This award is given to the individual or business who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, new ideas and cooperative efforts in working with the Ketchikan’s visitor industry.  It was a great honor.  We would like to thank our Members, Board, Neighbors, Newtown & Old Town, also KVB, Historic Ketchikan, Chamber of Commerce, City of Ketchikan, Ketchikan Gateway Borough and the Planning Department at the KGB.  Special thanks to Tom Williams, Kyan Reeve and Leslie Jackson at the Planning Department.  I say lets make our Downtown Shine!
